Middlerock in GPT-4
We have been using ChatGPT 4.0 since the day it was released, not just as a toy but as our primary editing tool. GPT-4 has become an integral part of everything we do and has been used to edit almost everything on our website, including the most recent blog posts from March 17. Now, all of my work is reviewed by GPT-4 before I post it. Throughout the process, we have learned a few things.
During the creation of my four-part series on AI, GPT-4 added some of its own comments and at times attempted to soften what I had written, as if it was reviewing my work for political correctness. This alone was fascinating. As an advisory group, we are exploring how GPT-4 will revolutionize the office and have an immediate impact on many companies. It has already transformed the way I spend my time every day, and I am now producing better content more frequently.
However, GPT-4 has some flaws, including a strong left-wing bias that is rife with political correctness and wokeness. Therefore, it's crucial to exercise caution when using it. While it can broaden your research, it can also provide some false information if you are not careful, so it's important to read what it says and how it says it very carefully. Although I anticipate that these issues will be corrected over time, at present, it is a fantastic editing and research tool that cannot be entirely trusted.
At Middlerock, one of our primary objectives is to stay up to date on what is coming and why. GPT-4 is just one of the tools that we use, but for me, it is the most critical tool since the fax machine, cell phone, or even the first PDA. We considered incorporating it as a service, but we are not application integrators. However, what we can do is help you identify areas where you are vulnerable and provide recommendations on how to adopt GPT-4 and future AI technologies. It will not be long before it directly affects you. You will soon see it integrated into almost everything, from your car to your digital voice assistant, and everything you do. While you may prohibit its use in the workplace to avoid IP leakage, your competitors are likely to trust it and accelerate innovation through their pipeline as quickly as possible.
We do not take this lightly. We believe that this will be the most significant business transformation since the advent of the internet, and we would love to speak with you about what we know.
